Dr.
Archana Raheja completed her Ph.D. in Banking and Finance
in one continuous effort after her Bachelors and Masters degrees
from the prestigious University Business School (UBS), Chandigarh,
India. As a merit student, she has been a scholarship winner
throughout her academic years and is a British Mensa scholar.
She is also the Instructor for Certified Management Accountant
from ICMA, Australia and delivers their classroom based Management
Accounting course in India.
Currently,
Archana is Dean of New Delhi campus of IBAT School of Management
and also teaches Accounting and Finance to MBA students at
the Institute. Her international experience includes coordinating
and teaching for Becker's CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
preparatory course in Muscat, Oman (1998 - 99); Visiting Faculty
at the Oman Institute of Banking and Finance (1997-98). Other
teaching assignments included Visiting Lecturer at Skyline
Business School (2005) and Lecturer of Accounting at GND University,
Panjab (1993-95). She has over 1000 hours of experience in
taking knowledge based workshops in Finance and Accounting
for leading companies.
Archana
is also a trained instructional designer. She is perhaps just
one of the few Subject Matter Experts on Finance in India
who have in-depth experience of executing eLearning projects.
She was working with knowledge Solutions Business of NIIT
Limited from 2000 till 2003. and was involved in developing
web-based classrooms. Subsequently she has done a number of
assignments with leading companies like eMIND in creating
content in areas such as US Taxation, US Securities including
NASD regulations, US GAAP and Convergence to IAS, asset and
mortgage backed securities, world equity and bond markets,
US mutual funds, and Corporate Finance among others.
Dr. Raheja is a keen
crossword enthusiast and is also fond of experimenting with
new microwave recipes.
